I don't know how many Okami ads i've seen online in the past week. But ya give or take 10k.
Considering Capcom said they would be happy for lifetime sales = to PS2, I'd be happy with 25,000. With good legs. But my optimistic side hopes for 50,000.
Like 20,000. Not bad for a port done by four people huh?
Hmm no marketing of really any sorts but does have a cheaper price than other games. Possibly build off brand and hardcore want.
I'm gonna say 60k first week and hope the title has legs.

Nice. On another note, people's expectations have been pretty much in line with what I think will happen. I stick by my 40k prediction.

I based my guess between Zack & Wiki and NMH since these games are in a similar sales situation. I say 32000-45000. 80k would be awesome. Hopefully Okami has enough legs strength to warrant a sequel. Games in which this much effort was put in to make it happen for the gamers needs to be given credit. SHOVELWARE is highly frowned upon. *screaming out* DATA DESIGN INTERACTIVE. No subliminals!
