From the videos i've seen, i'll go with Little Big Planet. There's a great sense of detail in that game I haven't seen in the other contenders, probably because it's 2D.

I am dreaming: The game that will have the best graphics for 2008 is a game that is still an unannounced; a surprise Holiday 2008 title for the Wii from Nintendo (watch out for E3). Holiday 2008 is the most important season for Nintendo. The Wii(s) performance for the coming Holiday season will settle the battle for this gen.

Hmm, tough one.

1. MGS4
2. R2
3. GT5P
4. Killzone 2
5. GoW2

The main reason why MGS4 is at the top is because it's the one we are most certain about, or so I believe at least. The R2 trailer from the other is what puts R2 on the second spot (I believe what we saw was real time!)
GT5P really speaks for it self...
An important factor for Killzone 2 and GoW2 to be so low are their resolution. I'm not completely sure about the resolution of KZ2, but from what I've heard it's below 1080p, unlike my top 3
And GoW2 will assumingly not be 1080p either (a 360 trend here, it remains just an assumption for now). That and the fact that we have yet to see enough materiel for me to make up my mind completely.

FARCRY 2 EASLY ...

EDIT : I mean the PC version

And starcaft, sorry, but Fable2 isn't even in the top 5.
This, of course, doesn't mean the game will be bad.

EDIT2 : sorry but MGS4 isn't in the TOP either.

We already know, technically, it is not jaw dropping (some aliasing, frame rate drop)

Other big technical names : Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and, of course, Gears of War 2

I don't see how the addition of damage will make the cars LOOK any more realistic, damage makes their behaviour and interaction more realistic. If any of these games people are mentioning look better than GT5P, even Killzone 2, I'll be astounded.

Killzone 2 , but gears 2 does have some things that might get it to the top.

last part is complete and utter flamebait/trolling, this isnt about gameplay.

SSBB doesn't have great art direction, it doesn't even have good art direction, BK3 is yet to be seen but in art direction its LPB or Okami wii.

Fable 2 doesn't compete at all, lol. the only 360 exclusive with a chance at taking top graphics would be gears of war 2, but KZ2 has pretty much already proved itself to be superior visually, but i'll be surprised if any game surpasses GT5:P.
