Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo's E3 Direct may be longer than last year's

Thata not correct. Phil spencer said their ms show will be 100 mins.
That twitch schedule is showing thr ms show with 45 mins.
All fake news. Praise the suprise, death to the leaks.

Nintendo's E3 Direct may be the same length as last year's
Nintendo's E3 Direct may be conducted in Pig Latin
Nintendo's E3 Direct may be an hour long Labo infomercial

Last year they proved that 25 minutes was more than enough for many announcements, a longer showcase is always welcome, but it doesn't need to be...

Hoping so... In all honesty, they need to start building hype again. After the Wii U adverts, after it failed, it feels they finally gave up.

Uh? If the Switch is Nintendo giving up, they should give up more often.

Where did you get the idea that Nintendo's given up?

I'm not against shorter E3 presentations in general (especially with some companies still putting half an hours worth of filler in there), but I do think it's good for Nintendo's to be longer. Or at least more than 30 minutes. Last year's was okay, but I think it needed a bit more content.

I mean, judging from previous Directs it really doesn't matter what the video's content is as long as there is a logo for some desired game at the end.

Cool? Won't watch it though, I'll just wait for you guys to provide the highlights.

What are you basing that on, cause reception and sales say they had plenty enough content. I certainly don't see how adding another 5 minutes to the Spotlight would make any difference.

At the time, there was still that huge gaping 3rd party hole.  Showing off more of those games would've pushed the system even more.  I was still skeptical about what kind of support the system was gonna get even after the presentation.
