Wow.
I would never have thought i'd see the day that Germany would not make it out of the group stage. Schrecklich.

Germany sucked so hard this World Cup. Holy fuck.
And Mexico can definitely get off the clouds now, their success was based on an extremely weak Germany.
Worst German performance I can remember seeing in a major tournament. Bottom of their group and done.

The typical "they won but didn't play so well". A win is a win but the performance doesn't bode so well for future matches. If they played like they did today against Croatia or Belgium (mentioning teams who are in great form right now), they'd lose 2/3-0. And Germany is falling apart, a shame. |
Word. Mexico should've been eliminated... Well, given that Germany is trash as well, maybe not. If they go agaisnt Brazil in the next round, I predict they'll lose 5-0. But you never know with these guys.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

The reigning champions are out at the group stage. Who would have predicted that.

Which one? The first one which was kicked back by a German and so not offside, or the 2nd one where the Korean was still in his own half when the pass was made and so wasn't offside? |
The first one. It looked offside on the TV but I didn't realize it was kicked by Germany. Makes sense then...
