What kind of racer are you? Brake is the lose button! 

 So can any of you Euros or Japanese tell me if wiimote without wheel is any good? I'm sure wheel gives better tilt control, but is wiimote alone managable?

You just showed yourself more honest than god knows how many gamers. 

yeah the wiimote on its own is easy 2 use, my nephew uses it that way and has no problems.

I used it on an another game it was hard as hell to control.

Hopefully MK Wii will be different.

Thanks. I won't speak for it or against it, however in my home, I gurantee you it will get a fair and extensive day in court before I make up my mind.

I wasn't too great at it, so I figured I would get good at the tracks first before getting better with the wheel.

There is 1 thing I am not so keen on about the Wheel setup though and thats the +pad for items, I prefer using Z and up/down on the control stick... otherwise it works brilliantly, but as I said I am not too great yet.

I love it  I sent the wife down the get MKWii and she came back with a "2nd" wheel but it was a cheap third party rip off, I used the cheap one first and can see why people hate using wheels as it's garbage but when I used the Nintendo one itweighted a lot better and the button to utilize the B button makes it work imo.

 Somebody asked what does the Gold wheel mean online - it means that you've used the wheel 100% of the time so it'll be gold for me

I really like the wheel, I have not played loads yet as I am still to get a copy but a friend who has it came round for some 4 player fun the other night. We all had a go with the wheel then just used wiimotes on there own. I have not tried the other controls yet and to be honest I am not sure I will.

so most people that tried it prefer it and most people who don't prefer it have not tried it
