For months now, there have been rumors that developer Electric Square was working in collaboration Microsoft Studios on a "Forza Kart" game. Unfortunately, those rumors turned out to be incorrect.

Judge of Resetera posted a link to "Miami Street" on the forum. lHybridl was kind enough to provide us with the tip.

Miami Street is a free-to-play racing game meant for "all" Windows 10 devices, but don't get your hopes up about a Windows 10 Mobile renaissance here.

We've done some digging, and according to the app package metadata, it seems as though Miami Street is targeting Windows 10 PC and the "Andromeda OS" which is long-expected to be running on the folding Surface "Andromeda" tablet. Though only a PC version is available as of writing.

"We've got some exciting news to share. We proudly announce Miami Street, a project that Electric Square has been working on with our partners at Microsoft Studios. Developed to be played on any Windows 10 device, Miami Street is a new kind of racing game, built for a broad audience who love easy to pick-up-and-play experiences. As we continue the development of Miami Street in the months ahead, we will begin releasing the game in limited regions for testing and player feedback."

While it's still a little rough around the edges, especially if you watch gameplay, the title shows a lot of promise. The description speaks of one-on-one competitive racing, and while it makes no mention of mobile devices, it makes absolutely no sense for Microsoft to be making a touch-based free to play racing game just for Windows 10 touch PCs.

Looks more like a tech demo than a game.

If its the graphics you gotta remember this needs to be playable on phones basically... and without a controller/keyboard ect, just useing your fingers. I agree though looks abit rough round the edges, but again could just be because its a mobile game.

"Miami Street is a free-to-download racing game that presents a cinematic view of the racing, with quick-time events for things like taking on corners."

"To accelerate, you hold down the left mouse button, space bar or anywhere on touchscreens. To brake, release. The car automatically steers through turns, but you have to time your brake and hit the gas at the perfect time to get ahead."

OMG.....

it auto plays it self, and all you decide is the Quick Time events to turn corners, and when to break?

I don't get its reason for existence

Microsoft is killing it. Looks like PS4 received its death blow.

"The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

- Single-player Game

This looks just as bad as World of Speed.
