Forums - Sony - Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 remasters announced for PS4

Sega will release remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 for PlayStation 4, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals. 

Here is the Japanese release schedule:

  • Yakuza 3 – August 9 for 3,990 yen (includes soundtrack download code)
  • Yakuza 4 – Fall 2018
  • Yakuza 5 – Spring 2019

The remasterd releases will have improved resolution and frame rates.

Finally I will have a physical copy of 5.
Hopefully this will be released early next year or better this year.

Yakuza Kiwami (remake of 1st) + Yakuza Kiwami 2 (remake of 2nd).... and Yakuza 0, and 6.
Throw in 3,4,5 and thats the entire series on PS4.

:) if just collecting a entire series on 1 platform wasnt reason enough.

Cool. I some how missed out on this series and literally stumbled on Kiwami earlier this year. I snagged 0 and 6. I want to play through the entirety of the series.

It will be more awesome if they released Kenzan and Ishiin in English aswell.

Yakuza is one of those franchises I want to play but their are so many that I probably will not.

I've never played a Yakuza game either probably start now that all Mainline entries will be on the PS4 and I can play them in release order. Though I may be waiting a while for Western Releases of Yakuza 3-5.

Maybe not that long, considering the translation work has already been done for all the games.

This is just amazing news. If only to avoid spending a fortune on a used copy of Yakuza 3, which never made it to PSN. Hopefully the western releases aren’t far off...

I guess they're selling them all separately eh? Thought they'd release them in a collection but I'll still buy them.

...and then I'd probably buy them all again if they were to release a full collection from Yakuza 0-6.
