I think that it'll definitely have a 2nd analog stick, graphics on par or slightly less than the original XBOX. A keyboard, and a screen not unlike the T-Mobile Sidekick, to hide said keyboard. And more original games. Less ports.

I think the PSP2 will come out in 2 years. And if it doesn't have a 2nd analog stick then they just didn't learn from this gen.
imagine ur playing the psp2 with rumble and it falls outta ur hand into the subway tracks when ur playing need for speed lol.
they shuld add a touchscreen, 2 anaolog sticks, ingame music please, PSN support,

The PS1 had a 10 year lifespan accordign to Sony. They do not end a platforms life when a successor comes out. A new PSP could easily be in the works to be released in 2-3 years. If Sony feels the PSP has met the required minimums for continued presence in the handheld market then the basic design of the next system has certainly started already and a prototype will be available in a year or twos time.
Do you randomly drop your controller every time it shakes? It is long over due for handhelds to have rumble built in as a standard feature. At least the DS a rumble pack that can be put in, but that is not even half as good as rumble built into the machine itself.
I do think Sony will annoucne a successor to the PSP, this year or next year. And I think it is necessary as well.
They need a new system which they will advertise more as a gaming system (while it will probably still have the multimedia functions), so hardware might be lower, but at least the software will sell and third parties will be happy.
I think its still too early, 2 years from now maybe, especially considering Sony just gave the PSP that 10 year plan thing like a month ago...
The big bosses in Sony HQ said they wanted the PSP to last for another 7 years, I think. So I think we could see the PSP2 in 2012, with the PSP1 being supported for another few years, just like with the PS3 and PS2.

If Nintendo brings out a new DS model , than IMO a new PSP design could come out as early as the end of the year . Sony is enjoying their recent momentum cased by quality software and redesign , and they wont want to loose it just as they did back when the DSL was released . Still , my bet is that we will see a PSP redesign sometime next year , and in ~2 years afther the redesing we will see a successor for the PSP ...
