This is interesting. I have 'Ad Blocker Plus' on Firefox so I don't see any ads anywhere, yet, these widgets get through just fine. Kinda cool actually. Best ads I've seen. Interactive and not annoying. I think you should use this and google ads only.

i was checking out your amazon store link, http://www.vgchartz.com/astore.php, and in the bottom left there is a part that has some of the things in my amazon.com wishlist.

1. on my browser it's partly cut off
2. there is a link i can sometimes see to show my entire amazon.com wishlist but it actually only brings up the first 10 items with no link to see the next set.

you should look into that part 'cause i tend to buy other things from amazon more often than games so if you clear up those links i can probably send more monies your way.

Superchunk, yeah, same here. The annoying ads that flash and sometimes emit sounds just drive me crazy. But the widgets are pretty nice, and aren't so annoying, and they manage to get through. So it's kinda nice.

I'm still curious at how I can make sure that when I buy something on Amazon.com, it knows to give something to VGChartz.com. If I use the store from vgchartz (using the link that ioi gave us, since there isn't a link anywhere else yet), I'm sure it will work, but most of the time I would rather just go to Amazon.com and search for whatever there.

Or we can do as I am trying at the moment and position Amazon advertisement widgets around the site which link you to amazon products to buy - just like you should be able to see under the first post of this thread...

 I buy about 20% of my non food stuff through freetalklive.amazon.com including over 1/2 my games.  With free shipping and frequent deals, what's not to like.  I also prefer used games from Amazon (as opposed to ebay) because it is so much easier than placing bids.  I know I end up paying more, but with work and school, I don't always have time to bid.

I buy all my Wii and DS games from Amazon at the rate of 2-4 a month. I'll gladly use it through VGChartz.

What about Amazon.co.uk, surely the widget can be region specific. I'll happily buy games from a link on this site but not American games!

Same as tmbh. I only buy around 2-3 items a year thorugh Amazon, but if they can be purchased through VGChartz in regionalised stores, I'd gladly use this.

My brother, who has a VGChartz account, uses Amazon a fair amount. Now if I could just get him to log in to VGChartz a bit more. I'll make sure he knows about the new Amazon thing.
