I am surprised that Switch didn't win. It seems there's still some hope left.

The family of Nintendo's and  PlayStation's are equally important.  Just look at that little handheld called the Vita you bring up, as connected to the family of other devices through remote play. Plays the PS3 with its huge library of games as well as the PS2 games from its B.C., and plays PS4, as well as having its own games. I think you may be misjudging the PlayStation family Mandalore76 by not seeing the applicability it offers, quality, fun games and the unique value in its hardware. (the bells and whistles it has as well as its power)

Oh yeah, PS1 and PS2 on the top, and I didn't even have to participate to do that!

Judging by the amount of PS2 and PS3 owners who actually bothered to even buy a Vita (not very many at all), its not a well regarded or valued system even by Sony gamers.  It is far and away tremendously over-represented on this site.  That Sony iself stopped putting any effort into Vita very quickly after release speaks volumes.  People can say what they want about poorly selling Nintendo systems like the Gamecube or WiiU, but at least Nintendo never put in years of effort and support into a product they sold to their consumers. 

Congrats to the PS2!  It was the best selling console of all time, so it is a very worthy winner.

Heh.   The funny thing to me is that a few months ago we did a "top 50 games of all time".  Nintendo games completely dominated that list to a ridiculous degree.  I think the top 19 out of 20 games went for Nintendo, so it is surprising that the top 2 consoles in this game went to Sony.  Maybe it was mostly different groups of people playing each game?
