Lol at the gamespot difference

It feels like the original Gamespot reviewer just watched a couple of trailer/gameplay videos, played through the first island and called it a day.

I remember the context.
not using wii U gamepad at all when wii U developers were been criticized for not giving a good use of gamepad influenced the reception of dkctf.

Portability makes games better confirmed. :P

On a more serious note, that original Gamespot review came from someone who has absolutely no appreciation for what is, essantially a masterclass in game design. That much is evident from the review summary.

TPs leveldesign is basically flawless and completely grounded in the gameworlds logic. As much as I loved Rayman Legends, even it had levels that didn't hold up in that regard.

Glad to see that the game is seemingly finally getting the scores it deserves.

So another Wii U port for Switch that has higher score than original and that will sell better than original.

Currently finishing this game after more than 35 hours and more than 400 lives lost (my guess). My review is a 9.5 out of 10.

Regarding the thread, this morning I was looking at that and had to take a cold shower after seeing the review with the lowest note. Already at the time after going through the middle of the game I decided to look at what note had DKC TF in metacritic and it seemed too low for what he deserved.

I guess it shows just how much of a difference a reviewer can make in the score of the game, even if they work for the same publication.
