Forums - Gaming - 360 owners: Will you buy an Xmote?

........on second thought, RE5 on the 360 with RE4:Wii Edition's controls would be a must-buy!

Lol, yeah RE5 with motion could be pretty promising, i've never played the Wii one, but it looks promising

Speaking of Resident evil, i might go rent RE4 Wii

Well, I wouldn't mind picking it up if it comes with Xsport. I might pick another Xmote if it's bundled with Xplay for only 5 bucks extra.

*nods*.

Maybe they will come up with a commericial with 2 white guy driving a Mustang telling you "X would like to play". If they do that, I'm soo picking up an xbox360

I found that sooo funny! LMAO!

They're going to need a lot of compelling content in order to make that thing work and attract casuals to the 360. Simply having one Rare game with it (regardless of the quality of it) won't be enough. They either need to release dozens of titles that attract the kind of gamer they're looking for or not even bother.

I don't think I'm part of the intended audience for that controller but if they released some good point and click adventures and strategy games to go along with the casual fare then I would pick one up for sure.

hell yah I would buy it. Why not? If it works well with the games - then more power to xbox.

but, in truth, i hope they don't make it - it's hard enough to keep my kids off my 360. they have their wii but likes 360 games better

From doing a quick scan it looks like 3 Yes, 2 No, 2 Wait and see and 1 'Einstein' comment.

Originally, I thought "Hell no, I ain't buying that."

Then Stickball pointed out that its possible that a game like Halo Wars might have the option of using that instead of dual analogs.

In that case, I would buy one.

I can't believe I'm the only one to ask this:

How much does it cost or is it rumored to cost?

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

1. I eventually get most of the 360 accessories so probably yes

2. I am wii60 right now and probably by the end of the year PSwii60

3. Banjo 3 is a rental for me personally (I'm not really familiar with previous Banjo titles) and Halo Wars (I like the RTS genre...although I mainly play them on my PC) is most likely a purchase...so it would be worth it to me if it is bundled with a good game.

More important to me is if they are really going to support it. I have the camera and the support is there but could be much more extensive. I love Vegas 1 and 2's feature when you can map your face to your character. I would love more games to support that and similar features.

Having a Wii doesn't influence my decision at all. If this rumored remote is an experience that I or my family enjoys and feels is worth it...I'll get it. Just more variety for us to enjoy at home.
