Hey all

As you know, there has been a lot of talk about the Xmote/360mote rumour on VGchartz and everywhere else. There has also been some comments from PS3 and Wii owners blasting MS' integrity and saying this will alienate current 'hardcore' 360 owners.

What I am very curious to know from 360 owners are the following:

1. Will you buy an Xmote if it comes out this year?

2. Do you own the 360 only or do you own other consoles? Does the fact that you own a Nintendo Wii affect your decision?

3. If you won’t buy one, and the Xmote is bundled with a game that is extremely fun to play, e.g. Banjo 3 or Halo Wars, which revolutionizes remote play, will you now buy one or still wait and see.

4. If you still won’t buy one, what has to change or will nothing 'sway' you at all? :)

Here are my anwers:

I will buy an Xmote on day launch supposing it is at a decent price (yea im looking at you Rock Band EU) like the Mario Kart Wii wheel deal in EU. I own the 360 only, I am planning to get a Wii in the holidays. Even if I had a Wii now, I would still buy an Xmote on launch because based on the Wii's success, I trust MS will put in enough money to integrate this properly into current games and for long term plans. I really hope this rumour is true and hope this is out sooner rather than later.

I would buy a X-mote if it works well with Banjo 3 or Halo wars. I wouldn't want to play COD4 or Halo 3 with it though but i see it as a good idea if implemented in the right games like Viva Pinata.

Well, I wouldn't mind picking it up if it comes with Xsport. I might pick another Xmote if it's bundled with Xplay for only 5 bucks extra.

Maybe they will come up with a commericial with 2 white guy driving a Mustang telling you "X would like to play". If they do that, I'm soo picking up an xbox360

1. no i won't be buy one if it is released

2.i own all consoles thi gen, and the fact that i have a wii influences my decision. but to be honest i kinda view this in the same category as sony's eye toy. as in its just a gimmick. and no its not the same as the wii because the wii was built specifically for the controller

3.wait and see to how it comes off

4. it'll only sway me if its more fun or revolutionary then the wiimote

As a Wii60 gamer, I have no desire to purchase that device. The Wii Remote isn't ideal for every game, but it's the Wii's default controller. Wii games are designed with that in mind. The 360's remote (or the rumored PS3 remote for that matter) is a separate purchase. It probably won't have adequate support.

I will buy it, if it has good compatability with games, could be great with halo wars, possibly could be fun with sniping too.

A rumor is a rumor. RE4 and MP3 on record has the best and fun control mechanics I have ever played. Now can Halo Wars and Xmote beat? Rumor has to be true for me to find out.
