Forums - General - I need a job: Best Buy or Mcdonalds?

i desperately need a job so i can quit my friking paper route.

mcdonalds is like right by my house. i can walk. but i dont really want to work at mcdonalds. the food gets tempting lol.

best buy on the otehr hand is 2 buses away from my house. i want to work in the game section, but the price of bus tickcets kills. 3 bucks for 1 friken fare? 20 bucks for 10 tickets. so basically thats 20 bucks a week which is 20 times 8 ( 8 weeks of summer) is 160 bucks. thats if i work 5 days a week, which is unlikely.

so is 150 bucks or so worth it? is it better than working at stinky mcdoanlds?

Bestbuy won't hire you, you are 15 after all.

Trust me, i would know, I work there. ;)

 

P.S. you get absolutely no discount on games, since Bestbuy don't make money on game themselves (well, very very little)

my cousin said there was a guy 15 and he worked at bestbuy b4 she works their to.

and that employee discount thing is sad. i asked my cousin to buy a ps3 for me and ill owe her back and the discount was 64 cents roflcopter

really? went I bought my PS3, I had to pay MORE than the regular price if I buy it under the employee "discount", so I bought it regular price, and then bought the extend warranty.

Well, as far as I know, Bestbuy don't hire 15 yr olds... but good luck though.

 

P.S. if you become a Gamer, you get to track the total PS3 and 360 number throughout all Bestbuy store. and then you can back me up when people laugh at me after I told them PS3 outsells 360 in Canada by about 1.33 to 1
