I bought the game today but I won't start playing it until I finish one of the games I'm currently going through. I only got the regular edition tho, because the others are super overpriced over here (well, the regular game also is, but not as much as the other editions :p).

I am enjoying the game, have done about 16 hours. Really like the combat, and am working on my kingdom building right now which is fun. Have done a couple of skirmishes so still getting used to them but they seem pretty cool so far.
The only negative issue I have is that I wish they had done more voice acting for the main story dialogue.

Not bought into it yet, as I'm still waiting on more benchmarks for the PC version, and some patches that are likely to arrive in the coming weeks.

It's really easy.... too easy and I like playing on easy/normal mode... it really need a difficult slide.
Other then that I enjoy it.

I still need to pick this and the original game up! If I do end up getting them I'll be sure to post them here.

only managed 2-3 hours of this so far. Can’t say much about the story as I Havnt played enough to experience it. The characters look awesome though and the environment are nice and colourful, the battle system is easy but tbh I don’t mind it as I havnt really got the time these days to grind out loads of hours to be able to fight and beat harder enemies. I’ll hopefully get a couple more hours tonight once I’ve put my daughter to bed.

my main two issues with the game is the lack of actual voice acting, is almost as ifthe voice actors only worked part time and so only speak in small parts, at one part when you first meet the Sky pirates it switches half way through the conversation from having to read to voice, can’t understand why they did this.
There’s also times when they talk (none voice) in the world map and the text is really small and doesn’t stay on the screen long enough to read what they’re talking about.
Other than those two (small) things I really like the game.

Yeah. Ni No Kuni 2 is like a playable Studio Ghibli-Movie and a amazing jrpg. And the details and graphic, my eyes.. so beautiful <3
