That XB1 boost, damn. :)

Its INSANE... how much a "Save 130$" when you buy a Xbox + RDR2 has impacted sales.

People saying price cuts (temp ones) even dont work.... yeah right? look at this sh*t, outta nowhere xbox sales just explode.
130$ off helps moves xbox consoles atm.

The sales supposed to run from 26th -> nov 1st.  So its a week or so.

130$ off.... is a huge price cut + hot new game everyone wants = winning formula for unit sales.

Of course these things work.  They just aren't healthy long term when you do them over and over.  Because you are essentially telling your audience 1) that your product is overpriced at MSRP and 2) they should put off buying a system cause you never know when a better deal will drop.  Xbox One has felt the effects many times, where it explodes off the back of a firesale only to absolutely crater when it returns to MSRP.  

So about a week to go in NPD, the question is whether either system can get the sales needed to catch the Switch's lead. PS4's boost is thus far mild, which isn't shocking given Benji said the third parties haven't been pushing as hard this October. But it is still gaining. Xbone has exploded but was getting slaughtered earlier. Could be a much closer month than it was looking to be.

Wondering if a possible reduced price permanently on xbox ps4 make sales would impact on this level all month.
