I usually play a mix of MP and SP games, but I've found myself recently trying to complete my SP games. I've already finished Metro 2033 and Last Light/ I'm currently working on Deus Ex MKD.

Steam sales have been lackluster for me over the past 3 years, so instead I've moved over to finding deals over on GMG.

Backlog is a real monster, but luckily one that's easy to avoid even when it exists. Just ignore it. Once you have enough sale experience or a large enough backlog (or both), you'll also probably learn to simply ignore sales, almost no matter how great, unless you're planning to play the game in the near future.

i only play rts games on my pc so i buy 1-2 games per year the most of them are endless for me because i skip most rts campaigns

if you want try rome 2 total war, attila total war, anno 1404/ 2070 or company of heroes 1+2. there are also some good classics like c&c generals, age of empires 2 hd or hearts of iron 2 armageddon.

I can concur on Anno 1404, but 2070 has been a let down.

I don't think you'll ever go back tbh. You seem permanently comfy with PS4/PSVR, and with your previous mentioning of GPU and SSD's in the other thread, I don't see you bothering at all.

PC just doesn't seem like it's for you like it is for others. Much like the same way I'm not remotely interested in PS4/XB1, neither of them offer me anything I'd want.

Try add some games to wishlist feature for later if you want to control your budget during sales, sometime one or two of your game wishlist might be cheaper or even for free, so don't buy too much.

I have 217 gog games library and my wishlist is currently 399, i'm still waiting for cheaper sales or free.

This.  Sales are no longer a factor when I have about 500 steam games, 200 GOG games, and only a 10-20% completion rate. 

Regarding the OP, the struggle is real.  There's a site called backloggery that can help.  I personally have a spreadsheet and try to rank which games I want to play next.  And that's for all games, not just PC games.  I also do this with my book backlog.

Neither do I.  I just put everything on max and walk away. :)

Heck, we even have software that can do it for us via Nvidia's GForce Experience, so it's not like everyone is chained to spending years trapped within the settings menu of games.
