Forums - Nintendo - ign uk reviews MarioKart.

They forgot to add some online details:

-It has matchmaking, and you can see the name, and Mii, even if is not in your Friend list.

-It has online leaderboards.

-You can download ghost data from other players.

-It has events (like the ones in Mario Kart DS) and Nintendo will upload new events regularly.

-It's going to have online tournments by Nintendo.

-You can play in teams online.

-And one of the most important features: You can send friend request to your friends in the Wii Adress Book.... you can also send friend request to the people you race (I read this in NeoGAF, I need confirmation).

 Anyone can confirm this data?

Yeah....I stated at the top it's from IGN UK....I dunno what that has to do with anything. Are you expecting the US version to be better?

I only mentioned it because I got the impression some people didn't realize it.

a lot of Good things coming out of this game, and a good score too, can't wait to get my copy

IGN and IGN UK usually don't differ much in their review scores

Actually, IGN UK tends to be more generous than IGN. Especially if Bozon is the reviewer.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

Nice review. I do think it's the best online Nintendo game so far. I mean, there are a few games I like more, but as far as first party Nintendo online action, this is the smoothest and most user-friendly online gaming package to date. I kinda feel bad for Sakurai now. He put his heart and soul into Brawl and now Mario Kart's online is so much better so soon.

I don't really feel bad for him... I mean brawl has already sold 4 million copies and is not even out in europe yet...
