So do you admit you were wrong and that the sell through numbers of 13 million by December 31st are, in fact, from December 31st? And not January 21st?

most people agree it was till the 21st.

Switch's success is bringing out the desperation in select individuals

First of all, no, "most" people don't

Second of all, those who do only thought so becaue you were being deceptive (Wow this graph is next to a number!!! Must mean 13 million by January 21st!! Hurr durr)

Third of all I literally just proved it's impossible for that to be the case

Are you this thick headed? Are you really trying this hard to downplay Nintendo? I mean I thought we were having a productive back and forth originally but when you're literally shown proof that you're wrong you can't admit it? At least I gave credence to your theory when it originally looked plausible ...

You're wrong. Admit it.

Yup, the XB1 dropped like a rock as predicted. Their problem is one that would take years to fix. And thats assuming they start now. Doing 80k weeks worldwide is just bad. Thats like saying they have a 350k average a month while nintendo and sony will be pushing like 1M a month.

I think the demise of the XB1 is more relevant than if the NS sold over 13M or 14M. The thing is already going to be a 50M plus selling console and probably in record time. The PS4 has hit every relevant milestone it needs to hit and is for sure going to hit the 100M one eventually.

Whats worthy of discussion here is the XB1.

You were using an us vs them mentality this entire discussion while i've been trying not to ... and now is the time for no personal insults? Really?

You literally replied to another comment I made restating my evidence. You didn't miss it when I said it the second time ...

But here, go look at the post you "missed" : http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8724261

Very sure those regions where also left out when they did that announcement. If the 13M in the quarterly report is without those regions despite having a whole month to compute the numbers, then for sure the 10M announcement, which came just a couple of days after it happened, is missing them as well.

they never stated that in there press release, nothing was excluded.

You can't be serious, they litteraly said sell through numbers were only for Japan, NA and Europe

Wrong. It doesn't include parts of Asia. You are right about Latin America. But the point is including ROW sales - there is no way the Switch didn't sell 13 million by December 31st. Even when you don't include the areas Nintendo didn't include. In other words what you're saying is BS. Nintendo wouldn't report that the sales were 13 million by January 21st because just the three main regions alone already go up to 12.5 million. The exclusions wouldn't make up for it because as far back as December 30th(three weeks before the january 21st stats) it already sold 1.5 million ROW . This means that even if that number did exclude Latin America and parts of Asia, it still wouldn't change the fact that a measly 1/3 of ROW would still put it at 13 million by December 31st ...

There is logically no way that it didn't sell 13 million by December 31st and you know it.
