Perhaps because you look 18 but not really and may have been older. Sometimes, people are just curious. Age curious in your case: I recall asking a man his age. He looked like he was in his late 40s but he was 69 according to him. He was strong too, his handshake almost crushing my hand.
She was obviously just age curious, if she had been interested she would have pushed matters further but she did not so it was just curiosity.

I'm thinking she was just curious about your age. Can't say for sure though. I can only really say with any amount of certainty which fast food teen would very much like to **** my **** through interaction.

Tha happens quite often, people also think that I look way younger than I actually am. Even a colleque of mine I was working with for several years thought that I was the same age as he was. Around 20. After I told him I am 10 years older he didn't believed me. I had to show him my ID.
That's what happens if you don't smoke, drink alcohol and avoid the sun like a vampire. :/
