they used to say that about 360 last gen. fact is when a console with the combination of most attractive games, prince and features comes along it wins. its not about being obsessed with graphics considering the best 3 console franchises sold in the UK this gen are games focused heavily on gameplay not graphics (Cod, Fifa and GTA)

UK Switch sales ahead of Germany now? Why does Germany hate Nintendo so much?

Wii was only £180 v Switch @ £280 (+55%). US and EU only saw a 20% price increase over Wii. It will be a long time before Wii's record is broken.

No. Ireland's usually around 10% of the UK for most stuff.

Switch took 48 weeks to hit 700k+ units sold in the UK.

Yeah its not doing amazing in the UK but its doing far from poor.

Heres some sales from various European countries.

 

France-over 900k

UK-over 700k

Germany-over 600k

Spain-over 300k

Italy-no exact number, better than Wii

Portugal-over 20k
