Ace Combat VR exclusive is kind of a downer.

On a side note since we talking racers. I don;t get why there is no crusin' whatever anymore.

Well I seen it in the Arcade a recent iteration with Nintendo's logo on it

I hope this is true, not because I want a bunch of Switch exclusives - only because I really really want to see what the Kaz Hirai parody account has to say with a Ridge Racer 8 Switch-exclusive.

It can be a timed exclusive for all I care, I just want to see his reaction.

It would be interesting, NamcoBandai already handled a major Nintendo IP very well (Smash 4) so I wouldn't be surprised. However, I'd rather get a new IP from this, the Switch doesn't really have a big regular shooter, so it would be nice to fill the void.

Cruisin’ USA was one of those games that was so bad it was awesome. I would love to see a sequel to it. We need a good updated parody of the racing genre.

NS does need it which is why this is certainly believable. Nintendo is filling up their range of genresz in a rather plannend way like DOOM or others in the past.

They only seem to pay for development to ensure exclusivity. So that makes a lot of sense.

Cool if true. I was going to rate the game irrelevant, but then again, Bomberman was irrelevant a year ago, too. 90s revival is the name of the game for Switch.

Also, seconded on Cobrwtti and Jumpin's Cruisn comments, I forgot about the new arcade game, when it was announced I assumed a Switch port would be a shoo in by now.

Am I too late? Has anyone made the RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR joke? Anyway, great news for Switch owners if true. The industry needs more AAA arcade racers imho. I’d buy RR Switch if it’s any good.

I'd be interested in Ridge Racer 8 if it turns out well.

As for the Prime 4 comments, it makes sense - the new team Nintendo said were developing the game could be a one-off team assembled between Nintendo and Namco to make Prime 4.
