Forums - Gaming - List games you miss playing again?

I can't really narrow it down to a few games. I just miss playing games as a kid (NES-PS1 era). We always had a house full of gamers gathered around the TV laughing and having a good time.

There was a bit of a return to this with the Wii and Kinect, at least in my home. Best times of my gaming life.

I've been wanting to play Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia again, but Square Enix refuse to re-release them

Funky Barn. Only Funky Barn.

There was an NES game I used to rent all the time. It was like rugby except with robots and you'd have to pass the ball down the field. It was an overhead view and you could bounce the ball off the walls to pass. It was super hard to me back then and the terrible NES controllers would just kill my fingers but it was so much fun. I can't help but wonder how if I would enjoy the game today or if it would seem as fast.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, and I just finished 2 playthroughs + plat grind a month ago. Playing it made me pretty f***in' happy. Often. Smile, laugh. Solid RPG gameplay. It was a rich tapestry.

Two games that comes to mind are Tetris Attack and Mega Man X. They're games I absolutely love and used to replay quite often, especially Tetris Attack which I played daily. I loved playing the CPU on the hardest difficulty and stack up some crazy high combos. MMX I just love replaying. It's really fun for me. These days rarely play them, and that makes me sad. I wish I could play them some more..

I'm dying to play Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy since I loved playing the originals at a friend's house when I was younger. I also used to emulate it years ago but I don't pirate games anymore, so yeah =P

I also really want to replay Skyward Sword, I really hope we get an HD remaster in a year or two.

Edit: Playing Smash with my friends. Every time my friends come over now it feels like something's missing and that's Smash. It's the only time I ever regret selling my Wii U (Until a new game comes out, that is).

Tetris Attack made my mom into a gamer. She played it from like 1998 until Candy Crush.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but not just because the game, really it's because i'm no longer the demographic for a Smash Bros games : I dont have friends.

I would say Dark Souls. It's kind of strange but, even though I got into the game super late, the original Dark Souls feels like a title you had to "be there" for. The hype around how original and unique of a game it was was still alive and well even when I got into it in mid/late 2013(i'm kind of guessing when I got into it, don't remember exactly). I do still own a copy for PC, but I just don't feel like the game will live up to my memories.

I miss the Dark Clouds. I replayed them again recently and finished both but I wanna jump back in. I also miss a little known series known as Summoner. The 2nd game was marvelous and ended like there would be a 3rd.
