I should note that I’m expecting big hardware adjustments for this week later on and will post them when they come.
But for now, the week before Black Friday - The Calm Before the Storm.
PS4 and Xbox One are noticeably, considerably down this week YoY. The cbox One is now down YoY overall after being up throughout the entire year. It was a good run while it lasted, but sadly we knew this would happen.
PS4 has now fallen behind by over 2 million and unless this year’s Black Friday and December blows last year’s out of the water, it will continue to go down.
As for the Switch, Pokemon Let’s Go came out this week, and it shows as Switch sales nearly tripled from last week and are way up from last year. With Black Friday set to be far bigger than last year and December seeing the launch of Smash Bros., it’ll be fun to see where Switch finishes this year compared to last.
