What they need to do now is just a marketing blitz; TV ads on popular channels so that tons of kids and parents see it. Really put it out there in the public eye.

That big blitz may only come at the holiday. Nintendo could be doing a softish launch to gauge interest and go full on at the holidays.

I have a feeling Labo will start off relatively slow and be prematurely called a flop by detractors, only to pick up steam in the Christmas holiday season and go on to sell very well lifetime.

We all have different definitions of "very well" ...

I would think we all could agree that between 3 and 5 million would be very well. Most games don't even sell those numbers .

I don't watch much TV anymore and i use ad-block online so i can't really notice .

I thought it meant selling 5M+ units ... (along the lines of well established and renowned AAA franchises)

It would be an interesting proposition to open a thread and see the confidence rating as to how much everyone thinks it will sell in a certain sales bracket ...

It's here! Nintendo Labo is out now.

In addition to the first 2 Toycon kits now being available for purchase, Nintendo have also released the pdf files for all the cardboard templates online, so you can make them out of your own cardboard for free: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/labo/parts/
