Forums - Nintendo - Top 10 Switch Eshop Releases

My top eshop games:

Golf Story - A glorious cross of Mario Golf on the GBC and Earthbound.
Stardew Valley - Harvest Moon, but better.
The Sexy Brutale - Unique time bending puzzle game with a great story, only comparison would be Ghost Trick.
Shovel Knight Treasure Trove - Lovely retro Platformer that is nostalgic in all the right ways.
Rayman Legends (although that also has a physical release) - Tied for best platformer of the WiiU with DK Tropical Freeze. It's just as good on the Switch.

Stuff I picked up but haven't gotten to play yet:
Oxenfree - Supernatural mystery adventure with a dash of creeping horror and a great dialogue system
Thimbleweed Park - Point and Click adventure that Gave me deadly Preminition Vibes
The Flame in the Flood - Procedurally generated survival game with a great atmosphere.
Axiom Verge - Retro styled Metroidvania and apparently awesome.

I'm loving all the attention you guys are giving to SteamWorld Dig 2. It's definitely a great followup to the first game and has been part of my collection since release day. It looks like Rocket League, Stardew Valley, and Sonic Mania might be in my future.

Keep your top 10s coming, though. I'm kind of torn about games like Unepic since I played it to death on the WiiU. But part of me wants to own all my WiiU titles on the Switch since I feel like this system truly has the potential to be future proof, at least for these older titles.

You can never go wrong with Rocket League.

Thimbleweed Park - Ron Gilbert‘s new point&click adventure game (he’s the creator of Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island).

Pinball FX 3 - I love the FX games on any system, one (good) table is free, so download it even if you won't buy any tables.

I highly recommend Mr. Shifty and Axiom Verge. Fast RMX is cool too if you like high speed racers (a great stand-in for the lack of F-zero).

Rocket League and Golf Story look really cool too, haven't played them but might eventually get them.
