I imagine Witchfire making it to 2018, but Hunt is in dire need of proper optimisation, which could take some time, since they are also working on the game in general. if it skips to 2019, I imagine that game definitely taking a high spot for looks alone.

I think it's a bit difficult but stranger things have happened.
Btw keep an eye out on Game Informer cause Metro Exodus is their cover game of the month.

Any chance monster hunter world can make the cut? The world they have created feels head and shoulders above most games due to the depth and detail.

If only Unity was actually used in the right hands. Maybe then we'd be getting more like Adam on PC. Until then I don't expect any ramp ups.

I honestly don't see how that's beautiful in 2018. I looks good, but aside from numbers, it looks already ancient in my eyes at least. xD

Totally agree.  I've been scratching my head trying to understand what exactly it is that people find so impressive about this game.
