Well sorta of anyways. EB Games has a special right now where if you trade in 10 games you can get a 60 gb  PS3 for 399.99. At least the EB Games here in Edmonton anyways. I guess they apparantly have too many and need to unload. I'd have to say I was tempted. I'm sure you could find 10 used games easily in the Buy and Sell for cheap. Man I feel sorry for anyone who paid the 700 bones when it first came out. I'm still getting a Wii and a HDTV first. I can't wait to play Metroid with Wii controls on the new 46inch Sharp.

wow. thats a good deal for many ps2 owners who probably are more likely to A) have 10 games they don't care about so much and B) want a PS3.

Actually correct that. I feel sorry for the people that paid $2000 on Ebay for a PS3 only to find it had 5 games for it.

If that is true, I was thinking of trading in (more than) 10 games anyways and I would consider a PS3 for $399 ... same fricken price as a core XBox 360.

10 games of what system? ps1? ps2? xbox? 360? or the wii? i would definitely trade in 10 ps2 games (if not ps1) for a 399 console :)

The value of the trade in has to be $8 or greater which means that you will (probably) have to trade in your favourite games or some reasonably newer games.

Here's how the deal really works: For every game with an $8 or more trade in value, they will take $26 off a PS3. Up to 10 games or $260. You can trade in more games at their regular value to save more money. I used this deal and got a PS3 for $395 CAD tax included. Traded in 20 games and only had 8 that qualified for the $26 off. Traded in the rest anyways for 5, 6, or $7.

That's a very good deal I think.

Not bad. I like to keep my games, though. Got a library of over 100. Anyway, guess I will just have to wait for the price drop( I would say 2008).
