Any news on the box numbers? Im curious to see how much it is droping right now. I believe most of the drop is from people that would normally see the movie 2-3 times but were very unpleased with the first view and just gave up on repeating it. Like me.

I'm sorry, but how did Rey beat Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi? By running off after both of them broke Anakin's lightsaber in 2 pieces?

Yes that part...... at the end Kylo Ren is knocked out , and awaken when Hux is about to shot him. Rey is long gone.

I don't know if that should really be considered a win for Rey. That scene showed that Kylo Ren and Rey were equally powerful when they inadvertently broke the lightsaber into 2 pieces.

Who the hell would watch two and a half hours of a bad film a second time!?

It will be going over $900 million tomorrow.

It is when you consider one has actually put time into training, and the other just started using the force like a week ago with no real instruction. Rey in some ways reminds me of Son Goku from old Dragon Ball, able to mimic techniques that take talented folks years to master after seeing it only once. Only in DB it's comedic, a play on 'monkey see, monkey do,' and eventually explained by how ridiculously OP Goku's species is. I doubt we'll get any explanation for Rey's insanely high midiclorian count in the future. =p

I don't consider The Last Jedi to be a bad film, but I respect your opinion. Would like to watch it again sometime.

Rey sent Luke, a once powerful Jedi, on the ground in 5 seconds .

Rey neutralized Kylo Ren after saving its life and left the ship unscathed while Kylo Ren was out, awakening up just in time to not be killed by Hux.

Do I have to repeat myself?

1.  Luke had disarmed Rey when they were fighting with sticks.  Then Rey called a lightsaber and Luke fell back.  Given that Luke didn't want to harm Rey, that's hardly any indication that Rey was overpowered, or even stronger than Luke, which is highly doubtful.

2.  It's unlikely Kylo Ren was in any particular danger of death.  It was to show the teamwork and natural camaraderie between the two of them.

3.  There is absolutely nothing in the movie that indicates that Rey neutralized Ben.  The two were locked in a battle of wills when the ship was rammed.  The simple and likely correct interpretation is Ben was immediately incapacitated during the collision and Rey left either immediately or after waking up first herself.  Nothing weird or unbelievable about that any more than Rose being alert when Finn woke up.

1)  You are playing with the fact, Luke ended on the ground, defeated  and powerless. That's how weak Luke was portrayed in this movie.

2) Kylo Ren  was struggling and was locked by one of Snoke's guard, Rey had to step up to save him. That was clearly shown on screen, your interpretation is original, not canon.

3) Rey neutralized Kylo Ren by not allowing him to take the lightsaber and then left unscathed while Kylo Ren was knocked out. She could have killed him while he was asleep.

It's a reverse situation.

Usually the villain is more powerful and is a big threat to the hero. Here we have a main villain that is a huge underdog and has already been defeated several times by the hero, who even saved him.

I know a guy who has seen it 4 times now.

Was it Mel Gibson in a gimp outfit?

Cool. Nothing wrong with a guilty pleasure.
