Forums - Nintendo - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 2 Available Now!

Ah, you had to release the DLC six days after Xenoblade, eh Nintendo? Well, I'll try to play it early next year, though.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Yep, my original planning was: beating Xenoblade Chronicles 2, doing some post-game, beating BOTW again, and, finally, play the DLC. Now I don't know what to do.

Link has to scream: Tetsuoooo!!!

I don't know what to do first tbh. I am deep into Xenoblade 2 right now.

Tbh Motorcycles aren't too unexpected

I believe there was an interview where the director of BOTW said that they, from the get go, wanted to change Zelda drastically, and one of their concepts was a Rock N' Roll based Zelda game where Link was on a motorcycle

So is this something one can do before beating Ganon?

I hear you need to beat all the diving beasts, and maybe even have all the memories found, but haven't heard if you have to beat Ganon before doing this or not.

I"ve beat the game obviously, just curious for when I finally get this and decide to do a Master Mode run if this DLC fits nicely into the actual game, like the Master Sword Trials do.

Ha, thinking of Master Sword Trials and this DLC, I feel like I'll be like OP by the time I fight Ganon.

So, without spoiling anything, any impressions on the new dungeon and shrines yet?

How does the new dungeon compare to the Divine Beasts length/difficulty-wise? Are the new shrines also harder/longer to beat?

They're the only reason I'm considering getting this DLC, so I'd love to know people's thoughts on those before deciding on it.

Can't answer that, but do recall that with the DLC you also get the Trial of the Sword.

I hear/expect that is enjoyable. It's essentially a longer tougher version of that one Island challenge.

I know, but I'm not really interested in that since I hated doing the Eventide Island quest lol. Not a big fan of survival stuff in games =P

I really enjoyed the island due to it showing how well I improved in the game.

I mean the game you really don't level up per say like an RPG. So when you get stripped of your weapons and gear you are essentially back to how you were at start of game, with more hearts. But it was neat thinking back to how the first blue bokoblin on the plateau would own so many people and was feared, and yet when you go on the island and your naked you still just own everyone with just a plain old spear or something. Really makes you feel like you got better.

Also it makes you again rethink how you play. You know instead of charging in guns blazing, you once again look for rocks to roll down at enemy or barrels to blow up, ect. It's like a reminder to not to forget the basics.
