Very polarised opinion on here. Trump supporters agree with everything Trumps says and does and regard Trump as infallible. On the other hand Trump haters want him gone and oppose everything Trumps says and does. No political figure in the history of this world has divided opinion as much as Trump.

Trump's tax cuts will see him re-elected for a second term. Trump's tax cuts are great for Americans and the cuts will create millions of jobs. It is not a big deal that the tax cuts will add more debt to the Balanced budgets do not mean anything because the government has the license to print as much money as it wants through its Federal reserve and governments can issue long term bonds.

You mean the hugely unpopular tax cuts sitting at underwater approval ratings across the board and will raise the rates of anyone making under $75k a year as I just proved earlier?

Yeah, no, corporate tax cuts for the rich have never, I repeat, NEVER created a single job, quite the contrary, just ask Dubya. Hell, this is an even shittier version of the Bush tax cuts that nearly collapsed the economy.

That is just BS. Everyone is now in a lower percentage tax bracket, everyone. That means more money per check. Add in the doubling of the standard deduction and the child tax credit and anyone under 75K will benefit. After 7 years if the bill doesn't get extended than individuals will reset back to existing 2017 levels and with inflation will end up paying more in taxes than they would in 2017. That is only if the tax bill isn't extended. Corporations on the other hand have permanent tax breaks that don't expire. Also, the passed resolution leaves the mortgage interest deduction but loweres it to 500K from 1 million, keeps medical cost deductions and student loan interest deductions.  So what you are saying is that someone who pays 25% that will now be in a 22% tax bracket with double the standard deduction and double the child tax credit will pay more than before....makes perfect sense.

With all of the companies that have already announced billions of US based improvements and jobs within the first day of the bill passing you will see a number of other companies doing the same thing moving forward. It's not trickle down economics, its now beneficial for companies to do business in the US vs overseas. The Poor approval rating is due to the media constantly spewing BS to everyone and people like you repeating it. Once people start to see their checks increase in Jan./Feb. they will jump on board real quick and realize that Pelosi and Schumer are full of it.

Welcome to 2017 lol. The whole state of the political climate is rather pathetic.

Quite honestly I will be more than happy to call out Trump whenever he knowingly commits a wrongdoing, the only problem is the media itself has blown Trump and what he does so out of proportion, causing many of us to wonder if he actually has done something wrong. This causes this limbo like state that you mentioned to where you don't really know whether or not he did something good, because while Trump himself is no patron saint, the media are clearly not 'fair and balanced', thus leading Trump defenders to say he does nothing wrong (this is BS) and people who hate Trump to believe the crap the media tells them because it fits the agenda (same level of BS).

This is coming more from a Trump apologist. I will be more than happy to defend the man if the media continues to lie about him, but I will say if he goes too far.

Their checks will go up, but the bill's affects wont be fully seen until 2019. Their will be pay increases, but it affecting the common people wont be seen for a bit more time yet. Just thought to point that out.

Trump supporters don't view him as infallible and will call him out on his BS. The difference is that unlike the Democrats and non Trump supporters we don't see everything as BS. We agree with him in principle on a number of issues that the Democrats don't and we understand that just because we may not agree with him on a particular topic it doesn't mean we need to disagree with him on everything.

Agreed. The overall tax benefit wont be seen until people file taxes in April 2019. Tax rates for income however are immediate and take effect Jan. 1st

Today was a big win for Trump, and this improves his chances not only for 2020, but to get some more Republican senators in 2018.

LOL, no it doesn't.

And I already showed a link from a JTC study showing anyone making <$75k a year will see their taxes go up, but go on, continue to tout this as a win for the average American even though most Americans fervently disagree (gee, I wonder why).

As for CEOs expanding hiring.

Here are the tax brackets so you can review. The only people paying more make over 157K

Over the last year, I've seen a lot of peoples' opinions on Trump shift: social media and talk radio have made these transitions very evident.

As such, I'm curious to see how your opinions have changed, since his election last November.

I threw my support for him away... Recently...

Not yesterday, not last month. I literally stopped supporting him like, 20 minutes ago...

I had my reasons... Specifically, 128 reasons gathered in a building in Gotham. Also, 7 reasons not to ditch him. No bonus points for guessing why though... I also no longer support Trudeau after the complete display of spinelessness he showed.

I still don't regret supporting him when he was running, because Hillary couldn't be allowed to become president, but I will not support him now...

Correct.

My tax refund this coming April or whenever I do taxes will not be affected at all by this law. So I will not get any less of a refund or more of a refund than I would have it this passed or not this year.

But my paycheck come Jan 7th will be larger. Say I receive $300.00 per week per pay check AFTER taxes. With no raise considered, my paycheck that I get now could be $305.00 AFTER taxes. (made up numbers, just illustrating how it works)

So ignoring tax season, I will be bringing home more straight up cash per week by having my income taxed less every week.

You don't support him because he says Jerusalem is Israel's capital?

Might I inquire why you are so against that?
