Forums - Sony - How many hours have you put into Gran Turismo Sport already?

Don't know the time spent but i don't own the game for that long... Have 3 day logins... My personal tip for the pole position trophy, I'm keeping my ratings low so I get matched with lower skilled players and land easy poles.

I didn't think you could get down to DR.E, I should have when I was doing the clean races streak finishing last to one or two before last, race after race. Perhaps the SR ranking protected me from the final downfall :)

Congrats on that great race. It does happen!

Just got another good one even if some guy were dirty... pole and win

And with a championship 5th (deserved 3rd), second place in one race and this win I'm back at B B

It's like a roller coaster ride!  At least you now know it's not too difficult to climb back up :)

You almost got me wanting to get back to competing, yet I've got Doom and Skyrim to play tonight. I'll see you on the track one day. Highs and lows of GT Sport, keep em coming!

Next race... leader... some reason my car is slower at the begging and I'm smashed on the first corner... go to last place... one lap I'm already over the 5, another ram fest... but now to 7 because the others were way slower... finish the race dodging bullets to a 4th....

And do good laps =p ... but yes I done a very good qualifying that with under C gave me 3 poles almost straight.

I can do good laps, but landing a bunch of seconds places because of 100 milliseconds or less, was pissing me off, also, lots of ratings above my initial D (i think that come from the Beta) and the C I got from trying to win, so I did bad races and after get a D again I got one pole right after the drop, so, I'm maintaining my D to try to boost those poles... the winning I'll do later...

I'm at 5-5 now...

If you want to drop your rate just leave the race, that will plummet you very fast...

And I got a lot of second place due to 0.01- 0.04s as well.

But yesterday on dragon tail I done a very good lap (but still could reduce another 0.5s if I made everything right on my best capacity), so I gone 3 times against the same guy ahead of him by 17ms.

Today seems to be another day for me to grab some wins and poles... will look at what rating I'll find success.

Results from my lunch break daily car gift distraction. Matchmaking is terrible at lunch hour, yet still 1 out of 3 clean races.

First race I got a red SR rating due to avoiding someone that lost control, I slowed down yet still got a corner cut penalty, then another one for passing a wreck that reset right in front of me, and a 3rd when 5th place blocked me intentionally on the final straight. That hit was so minor it shouldn't even have registered, still SR down. I wonder if you can still bump draft on Tokyo expressway, seems it's more sensitive now. 6th from last still a good result.

Second race was the best. This is how matchmaking works at SR S btw

Yet the race was totally clean (some white ratings, no red) I got the clean race bonus and ended in 4th, was about to overtake to 3rd yet the finish line came up short. Passing those laggy players cleanly wasn't easy.

3rd race Matchmaking was at it worst

SR.A players in the field, beware...

Got stuck between two aggressive drivers, whole field was pretty bad

Floss_ava and Ran88ger kept trying to use me in corners, oh well I kept my cool and refrained from retaliating. Lost the clean race bonus when they knocked a car in my path. I put them on my block list instead, turned out I had already blocked Floss_ava, thanks for matching me with him again.

Anyway with 6,4,11 my DR rating went up slightly, still mid D, still S at least, got the daily car, play again tomorrow.

It really seems like they are more concerned with the SR rating and with very few people adhering with going for S, you end up having a very broad mix of the DR rating on it.

On SR E, D and C rating seemed to have enough players to have closer DR, I haven't seen more than B to D difference on DR... but even so lap times can be quite different.

I have played for 162 hs....
my wrists hurt....
this is my first GT
not perfect, but very very adictive...

Perfect race... someone bump me on the last lap, I knew he was going to do it, but it was unavoidable... althought if I didn't made a small mistake earlier costing me some .5s of lead it wouldn't happen
