I always wanted to try the original, never got around to it. Did see it cheap in a store the other day, though...

Hey Soriku, did you tell em about that new Square-Enix game announced for the Wii, based on the anime. I saw it on Kotaku this morning, didn't see anyone mention it though.

Wii's getting new 3rd party games daily now. It's starting the slow climb at the beginning of the DS rollercoaster of 3rd party support, imo.

Elebits was an amazing Wii launch game that really hopped in the deep end and tried some awesome new things with the Wii remote while every other developer was wiggling their toe in the water. I'm really glad it's getting a sequel now that Konami knows what they're doing. It'll be a million times better, and this time it won't have that awkward online workaround the original had before Nintendo opened up the WFC to Wii devs. It'll have real online level trading and a better level editor. I'm already drooling. If you haven't played the original, it's gotta be like 5 bucks now and I highly recommend it.

The best way to describe it is to say that Ghostbusters and Katamari had a baby. You have like... a gravity gun, that gets stronger the whole game until you're launching cars and giant slot machines everywhere.

The first game was good, however the story was horrible. At least in my oppinion. I hope the next part gets a better story.

however, multiplayer wasn't great since it was full-screen and one player controlled the camera for everyone

I just replayed the first one after this thread started, it is a lot of fun. I think a well thought out follow up might even reach greatness.
