Forums - Gaming - ESRB, with help from the console makers, makes it more expensive for indie developers to release physical editions for their games

article is a bit too long for my taste so I didn't read everything.

Basically, digital only releases that have already been rated by the ESRB need to be rated again for a "discount" when they the devs/publishers decide to release a physical copy? That sounds like some big bullshit.

Still, I don't see how that discount is affecting big publishers. Which of their games have a budget of under $1m???
