Pretty much. Nintendo doesn't need to cut the price to sell it. They'd be losing money they didn't need to lose at this point.

If you're hoping for a good deal, I hate to be a naysayer, but i think the others are right, I really doubt we see a significant deal on the console this Christmas. MAAAAYbe $10 off or perhaps a bundled game if a retailer is trying to beat out their competition but even that I think is unlikely for the Switch.

You will probably find some good deals on games but not the console.

The consoles not sold out, maybe online. My target has 7 Regular systems and 5 Mario Bundles. That's the store I bought mine from 1 week ago.

You can get a Wii U with smash and another game for 220ish nowadays. Just look online

I kinda feel Nintendo probably offers the least among the 3 when it comes to black Friday deals, so I dunno if I expect much this year either.

The demand should be plenty high enough this Holiday that Nintendo will likely avoid much for deals with the Switch. Probably next holiday is when we'll get some good deals.
