Forums - Movies & TV - Marvel Studios Box Office Gross

Lots of $$$ for Disney. Not a big fan of either superhero movies or Disney, but they really have a eye for movies.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Post Infinity war will be a major test as I expect Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America to be phased out due to contracts and aging actors.  Big question is if Ant-Man and Wasp, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel can carry the studio along.

I've also heard they may be getting Fantastic Four and X-Men back as Disney is acquiring parts of Fox.

Carol Davners can't carry anything with by stealing his name. She should stick to 'Ms Marvel'.

Yeah this deal could be very interesting. I don't know if the Fantastic Four are salvagable after that last movie, maybe if they reintroduce them in someone else's movie.

If this goes through, the more interesting part will be Marvel not having to shun the X-Men any more. No more stupid bullshit like no X-Men in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

Even then do you think Disney/Marvel can work out what to do with the FF anyway? Even Marvel with a writer that's been working on them for years balls'd it up in the comics and religated them to basically not even being worthy of their own comic and had to shoe in some god awful big even to make them relevant. The biggest get from FF would be Doom.

Have you heard anything about the X-men in the new Lego Marvel? Because the ads never show them :P

... I'm not bitter. Honest.

Hmm, pie.
