I just mad ethis point and figured I'd repeat it.
Nintendo seems to be a bastion for a lot of things that have mostly vanished or are greatly reduced elsewhere. Single player games, mascot platformers, kart racers, colorful/marketable charaters, turn based JRPG's, questionable online policies, motion controls, etc etc etc.
Meanwhile those locals I mention hold relics of ancient periods, including Lemurs (primative primapes), Monotremes (Egg-laying mammals), Marsupials (South America has a few and one got up to North America, but South America was also long disconnected), and Tuataras. Heck Australia historically was the last bastion of the giant crocodile like Amphibians.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
