Definitely a much cleaner image but I've seen some footage of it in motion and it still looks remarkable for running on such a small device.

And speaking of spoilers, be advised street date appears to have been broken, gameplay video are popping up. Some spoiler free viewing might be cool, but be on the look out for spoilerific thumbnails and video titles.

Watched, or more listened to a Q/A on GamExplain with Chugga the other day and while he is no digital foundry, he was fairly certain the game is 1080p and 30fps docked. I personally don't really care on resolution so much, but he made it sound like the fps was very smooth. Don't know if perfect, but better than both 1 and X.

That is all I care about really. Watching the first reveals of 2, there was worry about stuttering/fps/ect problems. They may still be there, idk, but at the very least it is better than the prior 2 games.

As for Handheld, he said draw distance you could notice a bit or something, but seems fps is goo din that too.

Oh i'm not slighting the game. It looks gorgeous. Just looks way better in TV mode.

It is funny how some games look as good if not better in handheld, while others look way better on the TV though. Zelda looks as good if not better in handheld, whereas Splatoon 2 looks way better on the TV. I guess that while the pixel density is great in handheld mode, it's really based on what sacrifices need to be made for what games in handheld mode.

On another note, i'm really surprised with how far Xenoblade 2 has come. The original reveal of  the game made it look horrible - terrible framerate, bad animations, and honestly pretty bad image quality and textures. Of course some of this is probably due to the rush to create a preview, it might have even been an old build by the time it was shown off, but it's amazing how good it looks now. Great consistent framerate,  better animations(some could still be improved though), and those vibrant colors and image quality. My god. 

It honestly looks like a PS4 game. Best looking game on Switch? Or na?

Gotta say tho, I'm really only excited about this game so far due to the fact that is called Xenoblade, since I feel every trailer has been pretty meh or uninteresting. I look at the story and if I didn't knew it was from the Monolith team I probably wouldn't care or expect anything grand to happen. Dunno if that is just me.
