The music industry is smaller than the US in proportion to its size I believe, so I guess it may be the same for games.

Well, depends which part of Canada you're talking about. Here in Vancouver, there is way too much rain and greyness, probably even more than Britain to be honest.

It's actually pretty damn similar.
Canadian pop. = 36.29 million. Switch userbase = 0.209 million
USA pop. = 323.1 million. Switch userbase = > 2 million
So both population and Switch userbase in Canada is ~10% of USA's. Same for PS4! 2.x million (I dont know what are the estimates) in the US, 0.205 million in Canada.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The marketing disparity between the Switch and PS4 in Canada is fairly large from what I've seen. PS4 has a much bigger presence on TV, with many more unique spots than the Switch has had. And those ads get played more often as well.
