New things I really liked:

The Gardens Between (time manipulation puzzles)
Oure (journey'sk game, clouds + dragons, titans to get working again)
Concrete Genie (epic mickey, wall art come alive)
Ghost of Tsushima (Samurai.... gone evil :P gave me "james clavell- shogun" vibes)

Ultra wings (a vr pilot wings'sk game)

Overall show did have some good surprises.

Wow, I'm so surprised to see all the disappointment in this thread! I only caught the second half of the conference (didn't even get to watch Sucker Punch's game trailer yet!), but I was really happy! Maybe it's bc I didn't have any expectations for PGW, but I felt more excitement during this conference than I did Sony's E3 conference this year.

I LOVED the Spider-Man and Detroit trailers! Most excited I've been for both of those games. And that TLoU Part II trailer! Jeeeezzzzz. Incredible, but brutal.

Between TLOU Part II, Spider-Man, Ghosts, and Detroit, I'm floored by what I've seen.

Then again, unlike some, I actually appreciate that new games are coming and like that we've gotten some updates on big ones. I couldn't care less for a presentation that appeases internet warriors.

IKR? Like I really cant wrap my head around gamers these days..... The games you mentioned along with the fact that theer are a ton of others that may have had a half hearted showing today (looking at you GoW) but we know is going to be great and then of course SotC......

I really can't get what more people really would have expected.

I mean the games coming next year from whats in your first line (and some you didn't mention) are already more than what some other companies have released in 2 years.

A solid conference for me. I love samurais. Ghost of Tsushima is looking up a good samurai game and I think it's open world because of the interview.

Concrete Genie, looks fantastic.
Detroit: become human's demo. Kara is freaking hot. Drool...
And Last of Us II. I was hoping for more gamplay. I guess we will see it on PSX or E3.

For those who are disappointed I guess Ghost of Tsushima, demo of detroit, Guacamelee 2 and concrete giant didn't do for you. Too bad.

I said this one on a different site when it was TGS. People got very spoiled because of E3 2015. It's a gamers orgasm, You can expect another one of those confernce for a long time.

Anyway, as have said by the other poster. Majority of the first party have already announce their games. You cannot expect them to announce another new games. Guerrila games might announce a new game on E3 2018. Media molecule. I think they scrap the initial settings of Dream because of gamers feedback.

Blame Sony, for he was the one saying that "E3 was only the first half of whats comming".

I think its not a problem of the content was not there, but everything that ws shown was mostly updates, and even weak ones at that, because it didnt show anything really new about those games.It was an okay show.

Well the second half is divided between PGW and PSX.

Anyway awesome show. So hyped about so many games.
