More support in terms of bigger improvements, yes. The power of X compels them.

More support as in... hey we're gonna give Game A a Scorpio update but not Pro.. nah, not gonna happen.

Wouldn't make sense any other way... the only caveat is if a game is expected to sell very little on Scorpio versus the other platforms maybe they will leave the upgrades at about the same level as Pro.

Looking at the source data of that webpage you can see that PS4 Pro has 197 official supported games and 58 PS4 Pro enhanced PSVR games

Number of listed games with enhancements: 197
Number of listed games with VR enhancements: 59
Total number of games with official support: 239 (some are both regular and VR)
Number of listed games with Boost Mode benefits: 191
Total number of listed games: 430

Thanks, I had no idea how to get that info now that Neogaf was down.

Oh Jesus, Colt Eastwood, one of the worst of those Youtube Xbox guys. Rand Al Thor is okay, I suppose, but the rest are cringe-inducingly fanboyish. In truth, most of the games getting X support are the same ones that got Pro support, look at the overlap. And the currently supported Pro games currently outnumber the announced X games by a good amount. It is true that the X out of the gate has more support, but those are a lot of the Pro games that devs already upgraded and are only fairly upgrading for the new system as well.

Yeah, I've seen some of hs videos before. He is a little fanboyish but he actually gives some props to the Ps4 pro in this video. His info seems on point too.   *edit: its wrong though, actual number is 197. He didnt research it well enough.

Simply put, he's not wrong. Devs do seem to be supporting the Xbox One X better than the PS4 Pro.

Yes he is.

Actual number is 197 (239 if you also factor in VR games).

If you factor in boost mode, its 430 games.

The actual number of pro enhanced games is higher than that list shows. It's a good list but is also fairly old. The best list of pro enhancements was, unfortunately, on Neogaf, run by a member named Liabe Brave. Since that cannot be accessed at the moment, I can't bring it up. It's a good deal more than the X has announced, however.

I do not doubt, though, that the X is likely easier to code for, since the uwp allows them to basically port the PC version. So I wouldn't be surprised if the gap between some games is larger than it should be (Elite Dangerous, for example).

That is totally not true. It is true only for some Windows Store PC Games which are built as universal app. And the main focus in pc gaming right now is win32. Every third party game has steam win32 version which is different. UWP games are mostly indies and Microsoft first party. And these games usually get being developed as Xbox games in mind then adding ability to play on pc as well. Except for a few major third party games like RE7 and shadow of war. I think there is only 2 of them.

we should wait b4 jump to conclusions. b4 ps4 pro was out there was a lot of talk how every game forward will support pro.

Xbox one x doesn't have a switch that make every game high res textures and whatnot.
someone needs to work on that. let's wait and see how many developers would put effort on those upgrades.

just saying
every new console release is the same bullshit.
developers saying how much room they have to work with but at the end of the day that's not exactly what's happening

Colt Eastwood breaks down why it seems like developers are giving Xbox One X more support than PS4 Pro.

I had no idea that Xbox One X already had so many games confirmed to be Native 4K or getting Enhanced.

What do you think?

View on YouTube

PS4 Pro atm has 2oo+ or so enhanced games. X1X has 120 confirmed with a lot not even out before next year.

That alone shows your assumption is untrue. What is true though is that the arrival of the X1X will help the Pro get more enhanced titles.

Pro already sold more and will keep doing so. Why should developers prefer the X1X instead?!

Also Colt Eastwood?! Isn’t that the same direction as Crapgamer?!

Oh dear, I can sense another list war in the offing. It will be interesting to watch. I would recommend people NOT do it but they will ...
