Giant hardcore robot anime fans. Might move some consoles. Then again they might of bought on for the Gundam games already.

The thing about thsese games is they're benefical for all parties. Some Anime included that weren't so popular their first run ended up getting newfound popularity later.

Or so i hear anyway.

If they are smart and tie in some new blu-ray anime rereleases around the time this game drops I could see it motivating even more sales.

I imagine a lot of people will be importing it too. Man i'm pumped. This and Valkrie should rule. I'm really hopeing PS3 turns out to be the SRPG console just so i can import the ones that seem more popular. (As far as numbers go, quality arguements can be made elsewhere if need be.)

And a saviour for the ps3 in Japan...I am really starting to doubt there will be any, although I hope I'm wrong.

You don't have to sell more than a million to be popular, especially not in Japan. Most RPG's don't even hit the 500.000 lifetime and still get the tag "The Best" (aka Platinum). The thing is that the PS3 needs RPG's in Japan and not only 2 or 3 in a year but a bunch more than that.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm dying for RPG's on the PS3 and can't wait when its August and Disgaea 3 releases... at least if it won't be postponed Valkyrie Chronicles in September if everything goes well and I hope that game is truly something. Now all we need are Eternal Sonata and White Knight Chronicles to fit the picture for this year

 The real question with SRW will be how they do the distribution.  After all the GC even got a SRW game last generation. I hope they mostly stick with PS3 as these are about the only games straight foward enough for me to import without speaking the language and as much as i love SRW i can't see getting a 2nd Wii for them.

well , it might not be a system seller ,,, but i predict that it will sell in the 150,000 - 200,000 copies and that it will have ps2 graphics ala disgaea 3

Is the series too Japanese-text heavy for a foreigner to enjoy it? I love importing, but tend to stray if the language barrier is going to make me unable to play the game. I can live without understanding the story, but how about menus and such?
