This is a pretty sad thing to say. Besides, a true fan would want more people to enjoy the franchise.

I think even Japanese companies care more about profits than tender words from the platform holder... So there may be some contractual thing about the games that released exclusively on PS2.

Thats what I am saying. Its amazing that they havent sold the remasters on the Xbox if they want to sell Kingdom hearts 3 on the one. Honestly, Square needs all applicable platforms. Look how much money it cost Square just to get a return on the first Tomb Raider. It literally took five platforms. Square has not been controlling their wallet.

Square is more of a westernized Japanese company, which means they will spend more money than is necessary to meet western standards. Thats probably the reason they let go of hitman and most likely wont make another Deus Ex again.

Yes they may expend more, but what does that have to do with they being sensitive of how MS threat then and abdicate to make money? If that was a thing then why does TR, FF XV and KH lists as Xbox releases? The first as temp exclusive, the second as MP and the third to future launch?

I was looking at sales for KH titles on Nintendo handhelds and wasn't impressed. Until I looked at sales on Sony platforms and was shocked.

KH is not nearly as big as I thought.

Kingdom Hearts was 10th highest selling game on PS2(according to VGC).
