Yup it's me, the famed AoA, I'm still alive and well. I got some settlement $ from an old job that wronged me just a few days ago, and after having to sell my Wii/DS/PSP recently I decided I aught to spoil myself, I feel I deserved it, so I got a PS3. I got with it COD4 and Grand Turismo 5 Prologue. COD4 is absolutely brilliant despite freezing on me twice. GT5 is very pretty even though it doesn't have Lamborghini, GT5 kind disappointed me though in terms of graphics, it doesn't blow me away as much as I thought it would, and yes I am playing on a HD Plasma at 1080i, and what's up with having to load it to the HD first?? WTF why?? It doesn't make loading any faster, at least not that I've noticed, what an utter waste of 6 gig, if many games have to do this then PS3 has more of a HD issue than the Wii. Any reco's? I finished COD4 now and am interested in Uncharted. Incase you're wondering, yes Wii is by far the better console to me, but I do love my PS3, I just wanted/needed a HD fix. I'll get another Wii when there is a proper Hard Drive involved and new colours. I'm on my mobile so exuse the grammar, new ISP coming soon, damn Optus to hell.

You might also want to try Guitar hero III, great fun.

I might get a PS3 for Metal Gear, or find a friend that has a PS3 and play MGS on his PS3, I think you'd enjoy that game a lot, Snake seems like your kinda guy haha.

congrats man,,,play unchrted and heavenly sword (for 29.99 online brand new ,don't pay the full price though),also DMC4,,mmm,,,Assasin's creed was good  but somepeople didn't enjoy it .

he freezing,have you installed the game patches?(as soona s you pop in the disk it tells you to update the game),also what about PS3 firmware updates?(we are at V2.2,check it in your settings at XMB under system infromation)

I want games that are out now, yes I will get GTA4, but not GH3 I had that on Wii.

No, seriously, good choice on COD4. It's surely a fine game in all aspects. Also, The Orange Box is a great game too, be sure to give it a try.
