Yes, killing it, it won 5 months from 7 months from launch, how you call that!? PS4 outsold Switch only 2 months from Switch launch with fact that Switch was heavily supply constrained until late August, and we talking about best PS4 year until now and first Switch year, so yes, Switch is killing it with sales.

Q1 will be Switch or Xbox, too when Switch and Xbox One X hopefully meet demand.

Finally some competition for the sales leader

Xbox will beat the PS4 sales because of the release of xbox one x, in november.

However I dont think it ll do anything for it even in Q1 2018, by then PS4 will be ahead again of xbox sales.

The question is how long can the switch stay ontop of the PS4 in terms of sales.

Switch outsold ps4 the last 3 months by a total of 50k? Ps4 outsold switch by almost 200k in june. The month of june is what you can call killing it

Without RDR2 and 90% of other multiplatform games? I seriously don't see what Nintendo could do till the new Pokemon game to not let the hype to die out. Wii and DS created a completely new target audience. That's not the case with the Switch.
