Forums - Gaming - PS4 led a week of software in europe almost 7:1

http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/42974/Europe/

I've never seen anything like this before.  The latest week of the EU has the ps4 selling almost 7 times the next nearest which is xb1. Has this ever happened in the EU before?

A bit over 6:1 actually. So at least over half way to 10:1, but not anywhere near actually being 10:1.

I'm more surprised by the total software sales of the 3DS, that is very low especially compared to the XBONE who will eventually catch up despite having sold twice as less hardware...

Was it really worth correcting the title of this thread? I'm pretty sure the whole point of it has already gone out the window, unless the point was to show how poor your math is . Sorry, but it's too funny.

Ps4 is around 1.2m.  The next nearest around 0.2. Basically it's a million ahead with a little over a million this week in total.  I've never seen a week so 1 sided in europe so yes it deserves to be corrected.

It's 6:1...

When you go back in history, you don't have to go far. In the sixth generation the PS2 was far ahead of the Xbox and GC in Europe, so the only system remotely comparable in installed base was the GBA. But home consoles easily outdo handhelds when it comes to tie ratio, so it's safe to say that the PS2's level of domination in Europe was bigger than what the PS4 is pulling off.

Apart from ps2 any non Sony console ever pull off a similar feat?

Good show.

From what I can tell the only thing notable is how low software sales are in Europe right now. At best, I'd say PS4 gets a golf clap for at least showing up with something. But don't let me ruin your excitement.
