Forums - Gaming - Monopoly for Switch is $40

This would be great at alf the price. Considering how busy october and november are for the Switch, this will go down in price fast. So I'll wait. Also, look at the reviews first, Monopoly on the Wii was dreadful.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Monopoly causes too many problems for me. However this version can't have a table flipped over. So this might be worth getting.

You could have joy cons flying all over the place though...

I hate it when bring up good points. Those Joy Cons are worth way more than any table to me :/

But this is the only digital monopoly where you can feel the dice rolling in your hands! Totally worth it!

physical indie games aren't priced higher?

Wow that's dissapointing if true. Not buying it at that price. Should be half that.

Why would anyone want to play monopoly in video game form? Just get the board game and play the old fashioned way!

A truly greedy price for a game about being the greediest. If that's not be coherent,i don't know what is.

The physical board game typically costs $20-$35, possibly higher for some specialty versions. To me, $40 isn't a terrible price.

I see the basic board game selling for $11 at Walmart reguarly.  In the holiday season, it can be purchased for less than $10.

The Zelda Version cost me 49.99€ here in Luxembourg. The original version is cheaper, but still around 30€ here.

So while 40 is a bit too much, it's not that expensive if you consider the price of the board here.

Even more overpriced it's the board game itself. I know you can get it for 8-15 dollars online, but, I mean, I've never seen it for less than 20 dollars in Walmart and other stores of the like.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
