Well if I had a ton of time I would study more for my classes, binge watch some anime, finish platinum for this game, make a better meal, sleep more, talk to more people, do 100% at the gym instead of the 90% I do now etc.
From 1-5 how much free time do you have (1 being the least)? | |||
| 5 | 13 | 23.21% | |
| 4 | 2 | 3.57% | |
| 3 | 14 | 25.00% | |
| 2 | 15 | 26.79% | |
| 1 | 12 | 21.43% | |
| Total: | 56 | ||

Hmm okay, where can I buy one of those? And if they threaten my laziness with their incessant activity can I return them and get a refund or something? |
You can adopt, a lengthy process which will already take care of your free time. You get paid for being a foster parent, returns are possible. You can even 'return' your own by simply neglecting them. They'll be picked up for free.
Get a girlfriend or a dog or a cat or a pet in general. That'll keep your hands full. I have a gf I see every day and 2 dogs and so I rarely have time for myself XD I've beaten maybe 1 game this year and have bought... idk anymore. I haven't had much time for games. I also work 2 jobs and do school.

Yeah. It sucks but healthcare doesn't pay much early on XD
Assuming you're going from STNA/Caregiver to Doctor the industry pay scale goes like:
-$17,000 a year Caregiver
-$20,000 a year Caregiver w/ advanced credentials
-$26,000 a year STNA
-$30,000 a year LPN
-$45,000-50,000 a year RN
And then depending on your field (lets do general) as a doctor:
-$80,000-120,000 a year

Have you considered getting into drawing or painting? Pixel art is fun to learn, or you could pick yourself up a graphics tablet and mess around with that |
Art hasn't been too pretty for me. I used to do cartoons (think whacky stuff with Mario and whatnot), and I honestly did some neat stuff. However, it never caught on for me.

What are you interested in being? Are you going in all the way, or are you fine with the $50000 salary?

For me I'm about to get my STNA license. Which, in Ohio qualifies me for about $14-16 an hour. If I make $15-16 I'll only need one job. In a year I'll be an LPN. And in 3, a nurse.
Medically, I have no interest in becoming a doctor. The hours suck, being on call 24/7. Uneven hours. Yuck. No, after being a nurse Im going to be training as a psychologist. It pays about $75,000-85,000 a year. Less than a doctor. But I'm not on call and work basically 9-5. So I'll take that over being a doctor any day of the week, month, year... ever

Yikes, I'm not even 20. Not sure if I should be having kids at this point of my life |
Not advisable no. An mmorpg will keep you busy and perhaps make some new friends. Or what's that pube game kids like to play nowadays.
I made the mistake of taking up programming at an early age. Software is never finished, messing around with it into the night only creates more work for the next day. A simple pet project easily turns into months of obsession.
I also had a phase with timelapse photography. Video editing and ofcourse shooting and speeding up material takes up tons of time. The result was worth it, ofcourse nowadays it pales into comparison with 4K videos, obsolete.
Perhaps you enyoy puzzle games. The last one that soaked up my time was Infini factory. The talos principle can keep you busy for a while too. Infini factory had a way of lodging itself in my mind, optimizing, finding better ways, the later stages are actually a lot like programming/debugging.
Anyway if you like writing, probably a good idea to do lots of reading as well. Which reminds me of my pile of books I didn't get to this summer. Another disadvantage of life with kids (or getting older), always being tired. I usually start nodding off after 15 pages. How did I ever make it through the whole Wheel of Time series... Read that :)

Currently watching My Hero. Loving it, and think it's the change Shounen needs.
Also watching Jojo's bizarre adventure.

We'll keep rooting for you. Keep it up! Nurses deserve all respect for what they go through.

I love puzzle games, which explains why I love Professor Layton. Puzzles are very enjoyable, especially abstract ones
