When a colored person does it it's an indictment on everyone of that group in America. If a white dude does it, it's a "lone nut". Colored people are not afforded the luxury of being seen as individuals in this country, they get to be grouped together and stigmatized if someone in their group does something terrible, but if it's a white guy, well it's not like there's any calls for white men to be banned or even screened more heavily at casinos, or schools, or movie theaters. 

Being seen as individuals is a luxury that's not afforded to all citizens, plain and simple. 

There will be people that will dismiss what you say Soundwave but you do speak the truth.  Other groups definitely do not have the luxury or any individual doing something like this not painted as the typical of that group instead of the atypical.

Soundwave's comment can be dismissed because he doesn't realise that white dudes can be muslims too. He also doesn't realise that you can't ban native citizens.

Sorry, I was being facetious. Unfortunately Germans aren't blessed with comedic skill =(

The Muslim situation in Europe is essentially this. If you live in areas where there are Muslims, you're probably not worried about them (Around 9/10 chance), you hear some news about shit that happens, but that isn't about 99.99% of them; just like other people - look at all the mass shootings in the US, thousands of them in the last decade, it doesn't mean you need to be suspicious of every American. If you live in areas where Muslims generally don't exist, you feel like you're fucking terrified, feeling under siege, and wonder when you are going to be the next victim - if Muslims were dangerous, it is the people who who have almost no chance of being harmed by them that are the most afraid.

For comparison's sake, the refugee crime is no where near the huge spike that was seen after East Germany was let back in. I think part of the big issue with refugees who commit crimes is a lot of them are very young, and do not have a proper upbringing. There is definitely no benefit to being Muslim, as there is much more scrutiny on behaviour by certain parties.

They got away with a racial attack because they were Muslim. What else would you call that? Think I can get away with drunk driving too if I say that I'm Muslim and therefore not used to alcohol?

See, this is why i'm confused. I generally try to follow some politics in European countries, but on the situation of terrorism is seems like 50% of the people on the internet think there's a legit issue, whereas the other 50% just call them no-life bigots who sit on their computer all day. I don't know what's true! Damn fearmongering.
