Forums - Nintendo Discussion - FIFA 18 on Switch accounted for 1% of all UK physical copies sold

That much was visible on Amazon. I expect better ratios forthe rest of Europe.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

There you go. Fixed it for you.

What is bad and incomplete about this version of the game?

Just for the fact that is incomplete, this is already a bad thing.

Just minority will have a switch as the primary gaming platform. But the majority will problably pick their multiplats on PC or PS4XONE.

The selling point of Nintendo consoles for at least 4 generations have been the exclusives.

But look at LegoWorlds.... 44%!

Switch users showing taste & class, and getting a non fifa game instead :p

Well if people are wondering why Lego worlds is so high on marketshare it is because it released in september while the other version released in March this year.

It's also a game that will rely a lot on legs - considering the handheld status, and that it's so early in the console cycle. I expect a lifetime of well over 50k in the UK, and could even see 1 million lifetime, worldwide.

I remember I had a discussion with someone here that said that switch could become FIFA's new main place to play. I guess I was right

Also, wasn't this supposed to be a good port? I read here that fans were pleased at least

You can't play with friends online... for some reason. And they never announced that. People found out a few days ago.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Given the fact that last year in the UK, Fifa managed to sell more copies the first week on the PS4 (and X-Box One) than the number of Switches sold total in the U.K. and it makes sense why it accounted for such a low total overall. I'm just hoping this doesn't turn into another excuse for EA to start rejecting Nintendo again.

This year too, probably. I think the Switch is still < 500k units in the UK.

Amazon is actually sold out of FIFA Switch and GAME is doing 'one person customer'

So you're telling me it's not out of stock and the number could have been higher.

There's plenty of places to pick the game up. Shopto.net have stock, Argos have stock, Game have stock, Tesco have stock... Amazon's the only place I've looked that doesn't.

The game did poorly in the UK, excuses aren't needed.

Of Course, better availability automatically means better sales.

It's not excuse, fact is that game is sold out on Amazon UK and that GAME is doing 'one person customer.
